The system of appraisal aims to assess the contribution of each member of academic staff to teaching, research (artistic or creative), administrative and other activities at the University. This task is performed by the Appraisal committee comprising associate professors and professors, including the chair of the committee, for a period of two years. Academic Staff Appraisal is based on complex self-assessments in the following three types of activities, arranged in order of importance:

• Educational activities

• Research and scholarly production

• Administrative and other activities.
